T h e   7 3 7   i s   4 0 !

April 9, 2007, marked the 40th Anniversary of the First Flight of the 737 Prototype.  Celebration of this event was held at the Museum of Flight on Saturday, April 14, 2007.  A Presentation was given at the Museum, along with Tours of the airplane. Participants included Brien Wygle, Pilot of the First Flight, Dick Taylor, Director of Engineering for the 737 Program at the time, Peter Morton, early Marketing Manager, and Bob Bogash, an engineer during development and Crew Chief of the airplane for the past 10 years.
