Dot is 75 ! |
In May, Dot had a big Milestone - three quarters of a century. And still lookin' good !!!
What else to do but have a Party. A Big
Party. How about TWO Big Parties? Yup - we had two.
One in Edmonds for our Mainland friends. And the following week,
another one in Hansville for the folks on the West side of the Sound.
Edmonds
Our Edmonds Party was at Anthony's Restaurant, on the waterfront overlooking the Marina. The weather in May should be beautiful, but Spring and Summer have pretty much disappeared in these parts. So the day was cool and rainy (duh!) - so we couldn't use their big patio. But, it was warm and cheery inside, with good food, good music, good drinks and good friends.

I put together a big photo collage of some of the highlights from Dot's 75 years. She wasn't too keen on it initially, but it turned out to be a big hit! Now, she loves it - and it is in her sewing room.

Ding-a-Ling-a-Ling Chow's On !!!

HansvilleThe following Sunday - again cloudy, cool and damp - another shindig at the Community Center in Hansville. This time, we added dance as Dot's dance group - the Boot Scootin' Grannies - came and put on some eye-popping dance routines.
Another Cake!
